First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if a nerve block done during laparoscopic hernia repair can lower pain and help people recover faster. One hundred adults having elective hernia surgery will be randomly assigned to get the block or not. The block uses a numbing medicine injected under direct vision. Researchers will measure pain levels and how quickly patients can get up and move after surgery.
