Double-target CAR-T therapy takes on blood cancers that won't quit

NCT ID NCT04186520

First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests a new type of CAR-T cell therapy that targets two proteins (CD19 and CD20) on cancer cells, aiming to treat adults with B-cell blood cancers like lymphoma and leukemia that have not responded to other treatments. The therapy uses the patient's own immune cells, which are modified in the lab and then given back to fight the cancer. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective, with up to 100 participants enrolled.
