NCT ID NCT06066346
First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug talquetamab can improve outcomes for people with multiple myeloma who have already received a type of CAR T-cell therapy called ide-cel. All 17 participants will get talquetamab injections until their disease gets worse. The main goal is to see how many patients achieve at least a partial response, and the study also checks for very deep remissions (MRD negativity) lasting at least a year.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Talquetamab
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new way to keep multiple myeloma under control after CAR T therapy, potentially leading to longer remissions.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-phase trial with only 17 participants. It may not show a clear benefit, and talquetamab can cause side effects like infections or immune reactions.
