New drug combo targets Hard-to-Treat prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT04846478
First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether two oral drugs, talazoparib and tazemetostat, can be safely combined to treat metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), a form of prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 35 participants will receive the combination to check for side effects and see if it shrinks tumors or lowers PSA levels. The goal is to find a new treatment option for this advanced cancer.
