Can tailored exercise speed hernia recovery and cut costs?
NCT ID NCT07145099
Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized physical therapy program helps people recover better after surgery to repair a belly (ventral) hernia. Researchers will compare 100 patients who get the special therapy to those who receive standard post-surgery instructions. The goal is to see if the therapy leads to stronger core muscles, less pain, fewer complications, and lower healthcare costs over one year.
