Summary

This study looks at whether switching from a standard blood thinner (clopidogrel) to a lower-dose version of another (prasugrel) can better control blood clotting in heart patients who have both high bleeding and high clotting risks after getting a stent. About 40 adults who have been on dual blood thinners for at least a month will be randomly assigned to either stay on their current medication or switch to the lower-dose prasugrel. The main goal is to measure how well the blood is thinned, not to directly assess heart attack or stroke prevention.
