Ancient exercise meets modern tech to heal hearts

NCT ID NCT05699642

Summary

This study is testing whether a 6-month program of online Tai Chi classes combined with a wearable fitness tracker can help people who have survived a serious heart event become more physically active. The trial involves 70 inactive heart attack survivors, comparing the Tai Chi program to standard educational materials. Researchers will measure how feasible the program is and check for improvements in activity levels, heart health markers, stress, and quality of life.
