New drug trial aims to tame blood disorders when standard treatments fail

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called tafasitamab in adults with two autoimmune blood disorders: immune thrombocytopenia (low platelets) and warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (low red blood cells). The goal is to see if the drug can safely raise blood cell counts without needing rescue treatments. About 56 participants will receive the drug and be monitored for side effects and response over 48 weeks.
