First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if the drug sirolimus can help adults with lupus who also have very low platelet counts (a condition called immune thrombocytopenia). Participants will receive either sirolimus or a placebo for 24 weeks, then all will receive sirolimus for another 24 weeks. The goal is to see if sirolimus safely raises platelet counts and reduces bleeding risk.
