NCT ID NCT04496882
First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether switching to a newer antiviral drug (tenofovir alafenamide) can help people with chronic hepatitis B who experience a flare-up after stopping their previous medication. About 260 adults in Taiwan who had been on standard antivirals for at least a year and then stopped will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the new drug can control the virus and normalize liver enzyme levels.
