Summary
This study looked at whether a 10-week Taekwondo program could improve physical and mental function in adults aged 60 and older. Forty participants were split into a Taekwondo group (training twice a week) or a waiting-list group. Researchers measured balance, strength, fitness, and thinking skills before and after the program, with a one-year follow-up to see if benefits lasted.
