New drug combo shows promise for Tough-to-Treat breast cancer

Summary
This study tests two oral medications, vepdegestrant and samuraciclib, taken daily at home by adults with advanced or metastatic ER+ breast cancer that no longer responds to standard treatments. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and can shrink or control the cancer. Participants continue treatment until their cancer progresses or side effects become too severe.
