NCT ID NCT07468474

First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study is creating a system to identify people at high risk for type 1 diabetes (T1D) before symptoms appear. Researchers will follow 340 participants—including T1D patients, their close relatives, and healthy volunteers—for up to 4 years. They will collect blood, urine, and stool samples yearly to look for genetic markers, autoantibodies, and other clues that predict T1D. The goal is to build a screening and management pathway that can be widely used.
