New hope for breast cancer patients with dangerous low platelets

Summary

This study tests a drug to help breast cancer patients whose platelet counts drop dangerously low after chemotherapy and T-DM1 treatment. It aims to see if the drug can safely raise platelet levels so patients can continue their cancer therapy. About 56 adults with breast cancer and a history of low platelets will take part.
