Tracking the pain: scientists map nerve damage from common breast cancer treatment

Summary
This study aims to understand how and why the breast cancer drug T-DM1 causes nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) in patients. Researchers will observe 36 patients with HER2-positive breast cancer who are receiving T-DM1 treatment. They will track changes in nerve-related symptoms like pain, tingling, and weakness over time to learn about the natural progression of this side effect.
