First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study checks if a new rapid test can diagnose syphilis quickly and accurately using just a fingerstick blood sample. About 600 adults visiting a community health centre in Winnipeg will take part. Researchers will compare the rapid test results with standard lab tests to see if it works well enough for same-day diagnosis and treatment.
