Vaginal flora fix: could probiotics stop preterm birth?

Summary
This study tests whether taking synbiotics (a mix of probiotics and prebiotics) early in pregnancy can help prevent preterm birth in women who have had a preterm birth before. About 402 pregnant women with a history of early delivery will take either synbiotics or a placebo daily from their first trimester. The goal is to see if the supplement can stabilize the vaginal microbiome and extend pregnancy to full term.
