Can a tablet app ease the burden of dialysis?
NCT ID NCT05738330
Summary
This study is testing whether a new digital system for tracking symptoms helps people on dialysis feel better. About 2,400 patients at up to 36 clinics will either use the new tablet-based symptom tracker or receive their usual care for a year. The goal is to see if regularly reporting symptoms and getting follow-up from the care team reduces suffering and improves quality of life.
