New wound dressing tested to heal stubborn diabetic foot sores

NCT ID NCT06035536

Summary

This study tested whether a new wound treatment called Symphony helps heal chronic diabetic foot ulcers better than standard care. 143 adults with foot ulcers that hadn't healed for over 4 weeks received either the Symphony treatment or standard wound dressings for 12 weeks. Researchers measured how many ulcers completely healed and how quickly they healed.
