Could a dip in the pool ease debilitating fatigue?
NCT ID NCT07454395
Summary
This study is exploring whether light, self-paced swimming might be a more tolerable way for people with conditions like ME/CFS and Long COVID to move their bodies. It focuses on how being in water might help reduce symptoms like extreme fatigue and post-exertional malaise. Researchers are recruiting 50 adults with mild-to-moderate symptoms to track their short-term responses to gentle swimming using a phone app.
