First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether two common artificial sweeteners, aspartame and sucralose, change how the body handles blood sugar in adults aged 40 and older who have prediabetes. Researchers will provide all meals for 8 weeks and track blood sugar levels continuously. The goal is to understand if these sweeteners might make blood sugar control worse.
