First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 33 people who had surgery for oral or throat cancer and received a collagen patch (Tachosil) to help rebuild the area. Researchers asked patients to fill out questionnaires about their swallowing and voice the day before surgery, and again at 1 month and 6 months after. The goal was to see how well the patch helped them recover these functions.
