Summary
This study aimed to better understand swallowing problems in patients with severe traumatic brain injury who have altered consciousness. Researchers examined 34 patients using special swallowing tests and consciousness assessments. The goal was to identify patterns and connections between swallowing difficulties and levels of awareness to improve future care.
