First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new pain drug called Suzetrigine can help people who have knee replacement surgery use fewer opioids and feel less pain. About 235 adults having knee replacement will be randomly assigned to get either Suzetrigine or a placebo before surgery. The researchers will measure how much opioid pain medicine each person needs afterward and how they rate their pain.
