Syringe or pen? study checks which delivers drug better
NCT ID NCT07413913
First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether survodutide enters the body the same way when given by a pre-filled syringe versus a pre-filled pen. About 56 healthy or overweight adults aged 18–55 will each receive both versions in a random order. The goal is to compare how much drug gets into the blood and how fast, using blood samples. No treatment benefit is expected—this is purely to check if the two delivery methods are equivalent.
