Summary
This study is testing a new system designed to help more older adults get a comprehensive health checkup before major surgery. It involves patients aged 80 and older who are scheduled for surgery, as well as their surgeons and other healthcare providers. The main goal is to see if this new system makes it easier for more eligible patients to receive this important pre-surgery assessment.
