New hope for pancreatic cancer: surgery after chemo may control spread
NCT ID NCT07340151
First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether surgery to remove the main pancreatic tumor and any small tumors in the liver or lungs can help control cancer that has spread only a little. Participants first receive chemotherapy (NALIRIFOX) for 4 cycles. If the cancer doesn't grow, doctors may operate to remove all visible tumors. About 40 people with newly diagnosed pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver or lungs will take part.
