NCT ID NCT07132294
First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at two different training methods for professional football players: supramaximal interval running (SIR) and small-sided games (SSG). Forty elite male players from Turkey took part over a six-week preseason period. The goal was to see which method improved aerobic capacity, running distance, and body composition more. Both methods helped, but SIR led to greater gains in fitness and body fat reduction.
