Summary

This study looked at whether starting supportive care (like counseling and symptom management) right after a multiple myeloma diagnosis helps improve quality of life compared to waiting 6 months. Twenty patients who were not eligible for stem cell transplant took part. Researchers measured quality of life using a questionnaire and interviews.
