Texts & coaching aim to ease the burden of type 1 diabetes for young adults
NCT ID NCT05820477
Summary
This study is testing a year-long program designed to help young adults (ages 18-24) better manage their type 1 diabetes. The program involves monthly phone coaching and daily text messages to help participants set and meet diabetes goals, and they can optionally invite a friend or family member for support. Researchers want to see if this approach improves blood sugar control, daily self-care, and reduces the emotional stress of living with diabetes.
