New program aims to ease the emotional burden on families of coma patients

Summary
This study is testing a support program called COMA-F that aims to reduce emotional distress in family members caring for patients with severe brain injuries who are in a coma. It will compare the program's effectiveness against standard health education materials. The research will involve 150 caregivers who are experiencing significant anxiety or depression while their loved one is in intensive care.
