Summary
This study tested a website called SUPPORT that provides online courses and a discussion forum to help adults with type 1 diabetes better manage low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Researchers wanted to see if the platform was satisfying, engaging, and could reduce fear and frequency of low blood sugar episodes. The study included 285 adults who already use insulin injections or pumps.
