First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether fecal transplants from specially selected 'superdonors' can help people with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis achieve remission. 42 adults with a recent diagnosis will receive either the superdonor transplant or a placebo, first by colonoscopy and then by capsules. The main goal is to see if more patients are symptom-free 8 weeks after treatment.
