New SuperCable aims to speed up breastbone healing after heart surgery

Summary
This study tests if a new flexible cable (SuperCable) is better than standard steel wire for closing the breastbone after heart surgery. 86 adults will be randomly assigned to one method. The goal is to see if SuperCable leads to faster bone healing, less pain, and a shorter hospital stay. Participants are followed for 6 months after surgery.
