Summary
This study tested a school-based program designed to prevent skin cancer in rural teenagers. About 38 students from Utah high schools participated in classroom lessons about sun safety and created personal protection plans. Researchers used surveys to see if the program changed students' knowledge and sun protection habits one month later.
