Summary

This study aimed to understand how people with a close family member who had melanoma make decisions about sun protection. Researchers interviewed 94 participants about their sunscreen use, shade-seeking, hat wearing, and protective clothing choices. The goal was to learn what influences these decisions to help develop better prevention strategies for at-risk individuals.
