First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study was designed to create and test a new program called the 'Connections model' for teens and young adults (ages 13-30) who have suicidal thoughts but don't need emergency care. The program combined a counseling approach (the Aeschi Model) with regular primary care to improve the patient-provider relationship and reduce suicide risk. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
