New hope for veterans: brief session aims to curb suicide risk after brain injury
NCT ID NCT07327567
Summary
This study is testing whether a single 30-60 minute safety planning session can help reduce suicide risk in active-duty military members who have had a mild traumatic brain injury. It will compare this Crisis Response Planning approach to the usual care these service members receive. The goal is to see if this brief intervention can lower feelings of hopelessness, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
