New calculator aims to guide Life-Saving therapy choices for military

NCT ID NCT06094218

Summary

This study aims to create and test a tool that predicts which military service members with suicidal thoughts will benefit from standard mental health care, and which might need a different, specialized therapy first. It involves 1,200 participants who will receive their usual care, while some of their therapists may receive extra training. The goal is to better match people to treatments that can control suicidal thoughts and reduce risk.
