Researchers test memory and attention in people hospitalized for suicidal thoughts
NCT ID NCT03519802
Summary
This study aimed to understand if people experiencing a suicidal crisis have changes in their thinking skills, like memory and attention. Researchers gave a short paper-and-pencil test to 140 adults hospitalized for suicidal thoughts or a recent suicide attempt. The goal was to see if low scores on this test are common during a crisis and if scores improve after hospital care.
