First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a quick-dissolving tablet placed under the tongue (sublingual sufentanil) to relieve moderate to severe pain from a single injury in the emergency room. About 300 adults with arm or leg injuries will receive either the new tablet or standard pain treatment. The goal is to see if the tablet works faster and better than usual care, without needing an IV.
