First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study checks if a simple scoring system called STUMBL can accurately predict who will have serious complications or die after a blunt chest injury (like from a car crash or fall). About 188 adults in Iraq will be scored when they arrive at the emergency room, and their outcomes will be tracked. The goal is to see if this tool works well in a hospital with limited resources, helping doctors make faster, better decisions.
