Scientists launch major study to unlock mysteries of rare, severe arthritis

NCT ID NCT03510442

Summary

This study aims to learn more about the causes and long-term course of rare inflammatory diseases like systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) and adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD). Researchers will follow up to 2000 children and adults with these conditions over time, collecting health information and samples to look for genetic clues. The goal is to build a detailed picture of these diseases to help guide future treatments, not to test a new therapy.
