Researchers hunt for clues in Fast-Moving heart disease

NCT ID NCT07239921

Summary

This study aims to understand a fast-progressing type of heart artery disease that doesn't respond well to standard treatments. Researchers will compare about 34 patients with this rapid form to about 18 patients with the more common, slower-progressing form. They will look at medical histories, test results, and scans to identify what makes the rapid form different, particularly focusing on signs of inflammation.
