First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether a common blood-saving technique used during heart surgery might increase the risk of kidney injury. Researchers will compare 100 adults having bypass surgery—some who get the technique and some who don't—by measuring kidney injury markers in their urine. The goal is to better understand the safety of this approach.
