Scientists search for hidden clues in Kids' high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT04752293
Summary
This study aims to understand the underlying causes of high blood pressure in children and how it damages the heart and kidneys. Researchers will follow 125 children and teens, some with newly diagnosed high blood pressure and some healthy, for two years. They will collect blood and urine samples and perform heart and kidney tests to see if specific natural substances in the body are linked to the disease and its complications.
