Scientists test how addictive vapes really are

NCT ID NCT07323511

Summary

This study aims to understand how addictive different e-cigarettes are compared to a person's usual cigarettes and nicotine gum. About 70 adult smokers will stay in a clinic for 10 days to try several e-cigarette products, their own cigarettes, and nicotine gum. Researchers will measure cravings, feelings, and nicotine levels in the blood to compare the addiction potential of each product.
