Summary

This study tests how smokers might change their buying habits when faced with different tax plans on regular and low-nicotine cigarettes. About 316 daily smokers will shop in a virtual store to see which products they choose. The goal is to find out which tax approach could best reduce smoking without pushing people to other tobacco products.
