Summary
This study aims to understand if tiny organisms called archaea play a role in causing cavities. Researchers will collect saliva samples from 200 dental patients to check for the presence and amount of these organisms. The goal is to gather new knowledge about what causes tooth decay, which could help guide future prevention or treatment strategies.
