First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a specific routine—using a power toothbrush and mouth rinse twice daily—reduces gum bleeding and inflammation better than a manual toothbrush alone. 69 adults with gingivitis participated for 6 weeks. Researchers measured gum health at the start and after 1, 3, and 6 weeks.
